Excellence in Education Banquet

This unique event brings together nearly 800 attendees from nine school districts, five higher education institutions and two counties in Kansas City’s Northland to acknowledge the important role that education play in the economic development and quality of life in the area. This banquet will honor outstanding students, teachers, staff, volunteers and business supporters of Northland education. The highlight of the evening is the presentation of the Christa McAuliffe Pioneer in Education Award. This award is given to one outstanding classroom teacher who exhibits the kind of innovation, motivation and spirit demonstrated by Christa McAuliffe.
